I'm Umna Khan, the founder and creative force behind the brand. If I stop to think about it, UMNA feels like more than just a clothing line; it's an embodiment of my journey, inspirations, and the duality of my diverse worlds. Proudly women and minority-owned, this venture began as a collaborative dream with my mother, who instilled in me the courage to live boldly and colorfully no matter what. 

As someone with a penchant for pushing boundaries and embracing the unconventional, I wanted to blend contemporary silhouettes with intricate, handcrafted details inspired by the vibrance of Pakistani artisanship. I believe in the power of freedom of expression, and I've made it my mission to infuse this ethos into both the fabric of my creations and my own life.

Each UMNA design is a unique piece of art, meticulously crafted by hand. No two pieces are alike, ensuring that every garment tells a distinct story and becomes a personal statement for the wearer.

As someone who aspired to take this route from a young age, it was important that I immerse myself in this craft— learning the art of sewing, personally sourcing every fabric and bead, and spending months alongside skilled craftsmen in Pakistan, where the heart of these creations comes to life.
